I had the extremely pleasurable opportunity to perform the Gran Partitta
with Dan conducting (now that will be for a later description). What was
especially fun about that week were the rehearsals and scholarly sessions
leading up to the performance. If you think Dan Leeson is formidable on
the written page.....WATCH OUT.......even more so in person!

I still have the copies of the Serenade copies you loaned me of the music
in Mozart's own hand. I use them frequently when teaching our conducting
class at IWU - and sometimes in clarinet lessons. AND......I have a tape
of that performance.......*EVIL SMILE*
