I am having a problem with my high notes specifically e and f. they crack
very easily and I dont know if it is me, or the mouthpiece. Ive tried holding
long tones and when I do hold them they just eventually crack. high e for
example, when I hold that note it goes to the partial above it, the A.
Slurring up to it and especially tonguing into that note are really bad. I
never used to have this problem until my teacher recently helped me to
correct my voicing, whethere that has anything to do with it at all. I'm not
sure if it could be that the facing on my mouthpiece aggravates the problem
or what the problem is. If anyone could give me their opinion it would be
much appreciated. thank you!
