Well, let's see. As I recall, black is the absence of color and, since most
of the Leblancs I've seen (except for Symphonie VIIs and a few old Noblets
that have long since given up their dye) are black, I conclude that there is
a certain amount of truth to the claim that Leblanc clarinets are colorless
(as are most Buffets, Selmers, Yamahas, Jupiters ...). But Rossi's are
different, some of them are a nice warm shade of brown. ;^)
