If my experience was any indication, it was at least a month before I was able
to play at all, and only for a very short time. You will probably find that
you will get tired very easily and you can't function well, anyway.

My advice to you is go slowly and don't push yourself. Your stomach muscles
have to have time to heal, post-surgical adhesions will form, and you will
likely feel lousy for a while, anyway.

But: cheer up! This, too, will pass. You WILL play again! :-)
