Hello all, this is my first time writing, I have problem I was hoping someone
could help me with. After any period of play on my Dan Johnston J facing
mouthpiece, I remove the reed and the table and back of the reed are totally
saturated with saliva. I am wondering if this is because the table is not flat
or if it could be the ligature. Could someone please help me.

To be blunt, it may be you. There should be a minimum of saliva that even
gets into the mouthpiece at all. Most of the moisture that is there is
condensation, except for a player who salivates a lot. Make sure that your
mouth is dry before playing, and also be sure to "get the water out" often
(suck in on the Mouthpiece during rests to remove the excess moisture on
the reed). Hope that helps.
