Subj: [kl] Sonata for (BBb) Contrabass Clarinet
Date: Tue, 30 Mar 1999 16:03:39 -0500

Hey All,
I've recently completed the first movement of a Sonata (I took some liberty
with the form in the development (dominant key) portion; but a Sonata would
probably still be the best interpretation) for Contrabass Clarinet.
I am looking for opinions on the piece, particullarly as to how I should go
about the writing the next two movements; and would be more than willing to
e-mail a midi file to any one interested. Thanks
Also, I'll be setting up a webpage soon with midis of all my original
music; over 200 minutes worth; and maybe some of my arrangements. Many of
these pieces are for clarinet or clarinet choir; while the majority of the
others being for Symphonic Band or Jazz Band; with a few classical Saxophone
solos. I would be willing to send midi files of most of these pieces out to
any one who might be interested in receiving them now; instead waiting and
downloading them off the web page when it comes up (could be a month or more
till that occurs).
Thanks for your Time,
Tristan Kayne Carpenter
