I have tried for the last few years to find a complete set of the
Toscanini recordings with NBC on CD.....they were released several years
back, and then not again. They are some of my favorite recordings of all
time.

I really enjoy the Stokowski recordings that I have - many with different
ensembles - one notable - a limited edition LP of Sheherezade (did I spell
that correctly???) - really great recording.

My opinion shouldn't be considered much beyond what it is worth to
me.....but I think that both gentlemen were fabulous musicians - and they
got results.
