It seems to me that the solution is music notation software. You make your
own derivative copy (I mean, for Pete's sake, von Weber has been in the
public domain, how long? 173 years?), make the changes which please you
and copyright your presentation. It's yours forever and no more looking over
your shoulder while standing at the xerox machine.

And a piano reduction! They are SO easy to do compared with something like
an octet.
