Hello!

I just got a Tri@-----. Seems in good
shape, and I'm quite happy with it.

Anyone out there know about Tri=E9bert as a clarinet-maker? All I know abou=
t
them comes from Baines' book on Woodwinds. Tri=E9bert developed the
Conservatoire key system for oboes, and Lor=E9e was founded by a son of
Tri@-----. I figured that if their oboes were so good, their clarinets
couldn't be all that bad...!

I can find no serial number on it. So dating it is going to be tricky.
Seems not terribly old, but I really don't know. It's marked "C LP" (C,
low pitch), and the brand mark, and that's it. It has 13 keys, no rings on
the upper joint, wrap-around register key, no rollers; all grenadilla,
including mouthpiece.

Any suggestions?
