I had my wisdom teeth pulled about a month ago. All four were impacted. My
oral surgeon suggested not doing anything for at least a week. Then my band
director said not to play until the sutures. Then I got dry sockets. I had to
go to the dentist every other day. He said not to play until I was healed and
could open my mouth. I couldn't play for a while, but I clapped rhythms and
fingered the music so I wouldn't get too far behind.
