Absent mindedness strikes me once again. Somebody who currently plays
on a B45 mouthpiece asked some advice and I fired away with all of the
websites I have around without mentioning Roger Garrett's mouthpieces.

You may want to consider contacting him, through the klarinet list, in
your search for a new mouthpiece. I have 3 that he refaced and one of
the new ones he's faced. I love them so much that I switch two of them
from time to time, just for some variety. I get a much better tone and
less resistance than the B45 I have. However, I'll qualify my
statements by letting you know I haven't played a clarinet near as long
as you mentioned.
