The semiprofessional orchestra in which I play just perfomed the Milhaud
"Creation of the World". Our conductor asked me if I wanted to paly the alto
sax part. Have to say I was tempted, it's a juicy part.

I held out for the first clarinet part, finally. I just HAD to play the Benny
Goodman-esque jazz solo.
