Hi everyone,

There has recently been a opening in the Montreal Symphony for a bass
clarinetist The posting for the audition says for bass clarinet and then
clarinet and saxophone. Isn't it very unusual to ask for saxophone from a
clarinetist, particularly in a major orchestra? I don't know many good bass
clarinetists who can pull off orchestral saxophone playing. Anyone know
anything about this?
