I was in Dublin several years ago as a spectator at the Patrick's Day parade.
There is NOTHING more rousing than a good marching band, especially in a
parade as glorious as that one. People from all over the world, including
Russia, Sweden, and the US, made music that was so delightful and uplifting
that I will remember it all the days of my life. While I wouldn't want a
marching band trekking through my family room, nothing compares to the roar of
a band inching down O'Connell Street playing one of the old songs with all
their collective hearts.
