Hon, you're trying too hard. Relax, have fun. Music is fun. Clarinet (and
music) is great, but not ALL of life. You'll have plenty of time to develop
that deep rich tone. I'm 50 and I'm still working on it.

You cannot force good tone. You cannot force correct breathing.

Relax. Play. Enjoy.
