I'm confused. Do you mean you want the fingering of the A 3, being the A above
the one ONE line (not two) above the staff?
According to the Turek book referred to us by Jack Kissinger (thanks, Jack), the
lowest A on a Bb clarinet is A and the one above middle C is A1 or A'.
However, according to the sneezy'' Basic and Alt . Fingerings...'' (thanks, Anne
Bell), the lowest A is A1 , so the one you want is A4 !
So, Jack , Anne , et al: when writing about a note in klarinet, which system
should we use?
