Kirsten,

Kevin's a3 is likely to be the best one on most clarinets for general
responsiveness and intonation. Whether it is the best one for your passage
depends on the notes leading into and following the A and whether it goes by
quickly in the middle of a run or hangs out there as a long held note. If you
can tell us more about the context(s) of the note, someone may be able to give
you a better solution to your specific problem.
