It's a function of people's mailers. I'm not sure _how_ they set them
up, but I get the attachments, too.

All binary type attachments are deleted automagically by the list
software (once in a great while someone slips in a weird one, and I have
to add yet another one to the "banned" data file ...) so just about any
attachment on the Klarinet list will be text - but _always_ double check
before opening _any_ attachment from the list to make sure it's text
only.
