Craig,

Your throat tone problem is odd indeed.  Do you play Buffets?  If so,
have you taken/sent the to François??  If you don't play Buffets, do you
have access to your brands' technicians?  If there's a flaw in the
drilling of a tonehole it might be reparable. It almost sounds like the
holes are drilled misshapen or misaligned.   I wish I knew more about
this type of problem and could give you better input.  When you get it
solved I would like to know what was wrong and what the fix was.
