All political influence aside, the RC or RC prestige made by Buffet is
most widely sought after by Buffet performers for the smaller instruments.
The Patricola is very good. However, for less money the Buffet will play
just as well. >>

I have in my possession a Buffet R-13 Eb which is as good or better than any
Eb clarinet I have ever played. With some tinkering you can play it extremely
well in tune. A conductor currently active in the U.S. but which shall remain
nameless said after a performance that he had never heard Til Eulenspeigel
played better.

I attributed most of my success in that performance to the excellence of my
instrument.

MORALE: Do not discount Buffet!!!!!
