Subject: [kl] Clarinet Swab
Help! I'm looking for a place to buy a Buffet cotton handkerchief
swab. I am talking about the ~1' square type with red and blue
printing. BUT...I want the kind with the light blue nylon(?) pull, NOT
the white cotton pull (that breaks all too soon). Anybody have a lead
on these? I have an older one, and can't remember where I got it.
Perhaps they don't make them anymore?

Dave, they haven't made those for the last 13 years. (I remember buying a
stockpile from a player in Nova Scotia back in 1988 as they had recently
been discontinued in the high quality blue ribbon style.) I find the cotton
pull to be crap!! Now Buffet has a green material swab that had once more
the nice ribbon that won't fray after 2 months.
Cost is about $15.
