For even fingers I would recommend the 68 mechanism studies in the Klose
that are on page 16. These are short mechanical studies about 2 measures
each which cover a variety of ranges and challenges. There is another set
later in the book as well.

Set your metronome at 60. Repeat each exercise a number of times. Then
repeat in cut time. Think and feel the subdivisions. Make sure your fingers
are absolutely in time and even. (A metronome that subdivides will provide
extra help here.) Make sure the down and up stroke is precise. Don't take
your fingers off of the keys any more than is needed. Use a mirror to watch
for any excess motion. Do not slam your fingers down. Think of squeezing for
fingers. This will avoid getting an accent.

Do this diligently and it should show improvement.
