If it is really such a big problem, you might try the following. . .

Get a good teacher who knows what he/she is doing.

Find a picture of proper hand position and copy it. The only somewhat fast way
to improve technique quickly is to correct faulty hand position.

Don't play anything over 1/2 tempo for a month, and concentrate like hell on
what's coming out of your instrument. Focus on what each finger is doing (this
is assuming you already know what it is SUPPOSED to do). Practice mostly
scales and arpeggios, like those in Baermann III. You don't want to clutter up
your mind with other things.
