I don't know of a source for printed music, but have found a CD of
Schrammelmusik, essentially by accident, after looking for it for years.
On Naxos 8.550228, titled "Music From Old Vienna" is the
"Thalia-Schrammeln", consisting of two violins, G clarinet and bass guitar.
From the sound and the cover picture on the notes, this is clearly a
clarinet in high G, above the Eb clarinet. The clarinetist is Gerald
Grunbacher and the musicians are all from the Austrian State Theater.
The notes state in part:
"The Thalia-Schrammeln lay the greatest importance on authenticity in their
performances, in particular avoiding the modern replacement of the original
G clarinet by the accordion, exaggerated sentimentality, incorrect phrasing
and tasteless violin glissandi."
It is a pleasant recording and is truly a bargain at the usual Naxos price
of $5.99!
