Thanks for the response,
I'm incline to agree.

Something else I've noticed, upon closer physical
examination of the instrument is what looks like
a very fine hairline crack running into the B-fork
pad of the lower joint from the top. It is so fine you
would miss it unless looking very closely, you need a
magnifying glass to see it clearly.
I've only had the instruments for approval at home for
five days, and have restricted playing them to two 15 min.
sessions per day each, always swabbing them often.
So if I like the instrument allot, would you say
don't worry about it, it may stay like that for years,
and if ever opens up, just pin it, making the sound preference
the priority. Or would you be more concerned then that?
