The parody was sent to me over the Internet by a friend from Ohio. There was
no attribution; if there had been, I would have included it.

I felt my introductory sentence made it clear that I am NOT the author.
Frankly, I don't know what kind of person would boast that his or her own work
was "clever." What's more, as the author of nearly 500 published articles and
books, I have never once been accused of either being a plagiarist...or
clever, for that matter ;-)
