I don't think so. The cheapest legal price of Finale I know of is the
educational price which was about $259 when I bought it two years ago.

Hi,
My name is Jean and I am subscribing since since some weeks to Klarinet.
My profession is quite technical (telecommunications) and I like, in
order to keep an equilibrium in my life, to play classical music and old
jazz with my clarinet.
I have the Demo version of Finale 98 and would like to upgrade it.
Sometime ago I saw in the news "alt.news.clarinet" that it was possible
to get Finale98 for less than 200 USD. I lost this info, coul it be from
a Canadian site ??? )
I would appreciate if someone could give me some hints
