Whadaya mean, "no control"? As the sole importer of Buffets CF had a
disgusting if legal monopoly and was happy to have the goons of the US
Customs service do their enforcement. I knew people who had newly
purchaced instruments confiscated at the Port of NY upon return from
Europe. CF was price gouging...plain and simple. I've always found
monopolists to be amongst the vilest of economic parasites.

Steve, I'm sorry CF's closing is causing you so much difficulty. I live
on the fringes of the known universe in Canada and have been victimized too
often by far away businessmen with their little "exclusive rights of
distributorship".

Actually, I'm an OK guy. I try to stay away from batons.
