Has anyone else on the list tried Harry Hartmann's Fiberreed? It's a also a synthetic
reed. I bought one from WW&BW and have been using it for about 5 months in rotation
with other reeds. It shows no signs of dying, yet. I bought one medium strength
reed and I've found that it really plays more like what I would expect in a
soft to medium soft reed. However, because of the high price ($17.95 per reed!),
I've yet to buy another in a higher strength. However, I've found it has many
of the same qualities others have mentioned in regard to the Legere reed (which
I've not yet tried).
