I tried the Vandoren optimum ligature in the music store. It did nothing for
me!

I mostly use a BG revelation, of my Rovner if the reed is very bright.

Also....try a thick strip of velcro, form it in a circle so it's tight on the
mouthpiece, then slip it over the reed. (fuzzy side OUT)

Makes a great ligature, and costs pennies!
