What do you do when the teacher has to cancel? Refund, keep it, apply it
to the next lesson? My son's teacher was habitually late and cancelled
without notice several times. He had a good reputation but I think he
was declining when we got to him. We changed teachers after a few months
and were much more satisfied. Both asked in advance (as did his piano
teacher) but I couldn't afford lump sums that large. They accepted
payment at each lesson. Otherwise, I would have lost the payment when I
switched teachers and would have had to wait to get the funds built up to
start the lessons. I only cancelled once or twice and that with days
ahead notice.
