I also received my Legere reeds this week. I'm undecided whether or not
I want to keep them, though. It seems at first blow they are great.
But as you play them longer (even though you wipe the spit, saliva,
water, condensation, whatever you want to call it off the back) it seems
they become more and more unresponsive. They blow like a 2 by 4 after a
60? minutes. This is the worst part. I wouldn't care if they get
brighter or worse sounding, but instead the blow harder. How annoying.
They are PERFECT for doubling, though. You pick them up and play 5 or
so minutes no prob. Has any one else encountered this? Maybe you're
not supposed to play them long if you want to send them back.
