NO, say it isn't so! Does any one know of anything even close to comparable
in the Chicago area? The empty manila folders and totally irrational filing
system were a pain, but I know nothing around here that matched the
inventory. I have not been very happy with Internet sheet music sites. Most
search engines are terrible with regard to classical music, they give no
indication as to how the piece was edited (specifically are editorial
changes shown as such), and new pieces fall under the category of early
music by the time they arrive!

Several small music stores around the Glenview area have also closed
recently. What's going on?

I just phoned them (Chicago store). They said they are also closing,
but do not "yet" have a sale.
