In addition to having an up front policy on time of payment (money up
front), rescheduling policies, etc., it is also important to have
policies that protect you from OTHER KINDS OF THINGS. Whenever a new
student comes on line I ask the parents to attend the lessons. I wish
that the students be "chaperoned."

Going a bit further, I never touch a girl while explaining diaphragm
support. If I do, it is with a parent there and witnessing all that
transpires, and even then, it is with a rolled up magazine or something
like that to avoid actual physical contact.
