Hear, hear! Would you like to know how many times I get "Why don't you
have any articles on <fill in the blank> on your site? I want to know
about it." When I reply that I could really use an article on <fill in
the blank>, and I'd be more than willing to edit it in my spare time -
it seems the message gets lost in the aether.

Save for Sherman Friedland, who writes articles regularly for his
"Corner" on Sneezy ...

"The phenomenon is too variable for proper study" often
translates from "I don't know how to get musicians to do
anything twice the same" - A. H. Benade
