Subj: [kl] Changes coming ...

I've slowly been making Sneezy.Org a stand-alone system over the last
few months, hopefully with minimal interruptions to all of you. The
Observer & Eccentric Newspapers of Livonia, MI have allowed me to put
Sneezy and some helper machines on a lightly loaded T1 line. I have
installed nameservers at that location and have been transitioning all
the "commercial" Web sites and domains Sneezy hosts over to my own
nameserver instead of MIKA Systems, Inc., nameserver.

This coming weekend I plan on transitioning the last domain over to the
new nameservers - sneezy.org itself. Everything else has gone smoothly,
and this should, too - but if something goes wrong, it'll be
catastrophic and not fixable for up to 2 days :^( (I _will_ be setting
time-outs to a very low value, but some nameservers in the Internet
don't work quite right and may not request new zone info as often as
requested).

After this move we will not be using MIKA Systems' equipment at all. My
boss has been very good about letting me use our in house equipment, and
this move is coming about for my own reasons, not his.

You _could_ read something into what's going on, and you'd probably be
right :^)
