No - you were right, it was someone else, and I made an off-hand remark.
I delete "trashed" messages often, and figured everyone does - but I'm
probably wrong. The chances are I get a lot more messages than many
people on the list.

Sneezy's predecessor was one of MIKA Systems' (my current employer)
first computers, which were named after the 7 dwarfs from Snow White. I
had sneezy, which was at least better than dopey. Since Victor Freyer's
original Clarinet FAQ was moved onto the old machine (sneezy.mika.com)
and people got used to the name, I decided to keep it around for
hysterical reasons when Stan Geidel & I bought the domain name.

One of my friends from way back reminded me recently that my very first
"personal" Unix machine, an Apollo DNsomething from around 1985, was
also called Sneezy - so I guess I'll just _have_ to keep the name. It's
a lot less formal, too - some of my email starts off with:

"Dear Mr./Ms. Sneezy,"
