If you all remember, a couple of months ago I sent a post asking for donations
of any unused/unwanted A clarinets for our local youth symphony program,
Midwest Young Artists.

I am very pleased to say that two of our regulars stepped up and donated
instruments:

Sue Simmons sent a very nice used Selmer A. It was performed on last Sat in a
performance of Beethoven's Second. Thanks, Sue!

Guy Legere, our synthetic reed genius, also donated a clarinet, a quite old
Buffet A, which is also very playable. I've been having fun with it putting it
into playing shape It will be in a students hands in a few more weeks.

On behalf of MYA, (I'm not a member of their organization - just a helpful
parent) - Thanks you very much Sue Simmons and Guy Legere.
