Ed might closer to being on the right track than anyone else. I would
also add, try changing VERY SLIGHTLY the amount of opening of the
Bb/register key. Opening it a little more might clear up the tone
quality. Be aware though that the tuning of B natural and C over the
register break will also go sharper as the key is opened more.
