It doesn't really work for a multiphonic. Or at least, I never could
get it to go.

The bit about Italians having full Boehm clarinets isn't really true
either nowadays. It used to be so, but now hardly anybody plays them.

I was once told that 'the true Italian tradition' is to play all music
on a Bb full Boehm. (I don't think that applied to the Mozart Concerto,
but you never know.) Fortunately, we've managed to kill that one off,
and now they even play on C clarinets, for Verdi and so on.
