Okay, I enjoyed all of the numbers in A Little Night Music except that one...

Not only have I always found the song wretchedly horrible, it didn't help that
the woman singing the part sang it progressively slower and slower each night
of the show! After fourteen shows, the pit director (and I) were ready to
kill her. Every single evening the director would approach her and say, "You
need to pick up the tempo in "Send in the Clowns," and every single day she'd
go, "Yes, okay," and every single night the horrible thing got SLOWER. Eeck!
