Actually, I believe it was written for Feidman and the Cleveland Quartet
(before they broke up).

Heard it... Have the recording... Love it. It is on my list of pieces that
I hope to perform someday (along with some other cool pieces like David
Schiff's Overture and Suite on Gimpel the Fool, and John Adams Gnarly
Buttons).

BMI is probably the liscensing agent for Ytalianna Music Publishing. Some
composers belong to ASCAP, others BMI, but both end up getting money back to
composers for performances of pieces.
