Hi Fernando,

I can't speak for Mr. Pyne regarding his work - he will need to answer
those questions. My limited experience (less than a year doing this kind
of work) has led me to believe that many of the problems you describe with
mouthpieces in general are a result of variances of the blanks themselves.
For instance, the blanks are poured and then "finished" by hand. Each
blank has different dimensions - but some are more consistant than others.
I have found the Zinners to be more consistant than the Babbitts, and the
material seems to be of a slightly better quality. However, given the
correct preparation of the blank, the Babbitts can play as well as any
mouthpiece (in my opinion of course).
