The person I referred to as a professional is a paid player for local
symphony. As we had a gig coming up, I wanted an opinion on the
tone of the horn while using this reed. As a "non-professional" who
is taking lessons, and quite happy with the tone, I wanted his opinion
as we often double on parts in our literature. I used the reed at the
gig, and things went better than they normally did, as the reed was
consistent through all the playing.
