Charlie Bay's mouthpieces are an interesting measure. I have one of his
alto clarinet mouthpieces - and I like it - but it takes the right reed -
and it is very picky.

The design is VERY open - his tip opening is for the alto/basset
mouthpiece is 1.90 - much greater than my 1.70 bass clarinet mouthpiece!
The curve is quite long also. I'm not sure who makes his blanks - perhaps
someone can let the list know?

The Bass Clarinet mouthpiece is over 2.0 at the tip - simply huge. My
opinion is that, for quite a bit less money, a better bass clarinet
mouthpiece is available than to spend $200 +
