Whether the above is true or not, one thing is certain:
Bay charges lots of money for his products and makes a
nice chunk of money in return.

But Neil, those Penthouse models (ClarFest - Bay booth a few years ago) are
expensive!! ;) I remember his mouthpiece being $100 back in 1979. That was
when Vandorens were about $40 if I remember correctly.
