Ah reminds me of my own mother. After every concert (and she has only
missed two in my life) she always insists that it "sounded good" which
seems quite impossible since she is deaf. Maybe when i am a little
better it will be a source of angst that she cannot hear anything I play
but for now I am happily plugging along and somehow she seems to enjoy it.

There's always my father who is able to hear, except when I ask for
something. ;-) As far as he would care I could play Mary Had a Little
Lamb in half notes at a recital and it would be as good as Mozart's
Clarinet Concerto.

Possibly this is a movie I'd be interested in watching one of these days..
