For what it is worth, I am using a Selmer C85 115 on mine with Mitchell
Lurie 3, Zonda 3 or Vandoren 2 1/2. It does not cause me the intonation
troubles I get on it with Vandoren mouthpieces. C85 105 should work
similarly, but with stiffer reeds. Slightly bright maybe, but controlable
with a Rovner ligature. I have received compliments on my tone using this
setup.

If you have to mic a saxophone, the rest of the band is too loud.
