My R-13 must have been plated during what I once read described (on
this list, several years ago) as an "equipment breakdown" period at
Buffet. The plating on my A from about 1967 is holding up great. The
circa 1990 R-13 is showing a lot of copper.

I have a Buffet R-13 A clarinet which hasn't been used for some time - the
keys (nickel) have discoloured and I was hoping someone might suggest the
best way to get the "shine" back.
