Klarinet Archive - Posting 000662.txt from 1999/02
From: Oliver Seely <oliver@-----.EDU> Subj: [kl] Upcoming music file. Date: Tue, 16 Feb 1999 20:17:46 -0500
I've finished sequencing Beethoven's Opus 11 for Bb Clarinet, Cello and Piano.
I haven't had so much fun playing along with a MIDI file since I did the
Kegelstatt
Trio a couple of years ago. I'm happy to say that the clarinet part can be
mastered
by a player of average accomplishment and each playing is more fun than the
one
before.
The world premier midi-karaoke performance will take place at 3pm this
Friday,
February 19 in the room where I teach Quantitative Analysis, NSM C239, the one
with the fine acoustics (for a chemistry classroom) at CSU Dominguez Hills.
Plenty of tickets are still available. 8-) The MIDI and .MUS file will be
available
for downloading the evening after the concert.
Thanks to Roger, Ken and Mary for telling us a little about this delightful
piece.
Oliver
